This winter, let Ensemble Laude fill your soul with rapturous pieces chosen for their beauty and light. Winter Solstice by Paul Carey and Northern Lights by Ola Gjeilo transport the listener into a winter dream, and Winter Winds by Mumford and Sons and Fire by young Vancouver composer Katerina Gimon surprise and delight with exuberance and passion. New Canadian works will be featured with La Belle se promene by Meghan Quinlan, Light and Wings by John Gordon Armstrong, and Soleil Couchants by Robert Ingari. We will also present Sanctum, our commission from Sarah Quartel, the haunting Jesu Gjor Meg Stille and the lullaby Det Lisle Banet, both from Norway. Come let your heart be uplifted on a cold winter’s night with our songs of love and joy.
